WHAT'S NEW

At Risk Services

ENCOMPASS has developed community based services for at risk individuals with both developmental disabilities and mental health diagnosis.  Combining expertise in both developmental disabilities and behavioral health provides an opportunity for innovative treatment opportunities for a dually diagnosed population.  Community residential services are provided according to the therapeutic and person centered treatment plan which is developed for each person.  Treatment includes personal care, peer support, health promotion, living skills, and room & board.  These services compliment educational, day treatment or vocational activities that may exist.  These settings can be designed and developed in geographic areas that are most appropriate to the needs of the individuals.

An essential element of this program is the Person Centered Treatment Plan which is developed through the utilization of the Person Centered Plan, Medication Reviews, Psychiatric Assessments and/or Psychological Reviews, Individualized Support Plan, and Behavior Treatment Plan.

Additional support services provided include:  behavior building, behavior management, behavioral health service coordination, psycho-social rehabilitation, medication administration, crisis management, and implementation of the person centered treatment plan.

TOHONO O'ODHAM NATION
Identification, development, and implementation of services for individuals residing within the Tohono O'Odham Nation continue to expand. ENCOMPASS day treatment and training services are provided on the Nation. To enhance participation, transportation supports are included. In addition, individualized residential services are provided for Tohono O’Odham Nation members.  Expanding services to the Nation has provided ENCOMPASS with a unique opportunity to receive valuable experience working in the Tohono O-Odham culture.

ENCOMPASS is currently seeking individuals from the nation that have a true desire to work in the field of developmental disabilities. Individuals interested in training in developmental trainer positions are encouraged to submit their applications online or mail to: Gina K Judy, CAO, ENCOMPASS, 901 E. 46th St. Tucson, AZ 85713.

These individualized habilitation services compliment group living arrangements and day services that have been provided in the area for over two decades.

ENCOMPASS is expanding employment supports and opportunities for individuals with disabilities throughout the Tucson area to accommodate a growing waiting list for these types of services. Unique individualized employment opportunities as well as maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping, laundry, food services, and janitorial enclaves are some of the current work related opportunities available through ENCOMPASS.
