Om PPEP Human Services

PPEP’s Human Services fall into three categories; Räddningstjänsten; Service till äldre; och färska ekologiskt odlade livsmedel på Arivaca gemenskaps Garden.Services erbjuds landsbygden och låga inkomster bosatta i Arizona för att hjälpa familjer att bli självförsörjande eller för att stabilisera krissituationer av många familjer står inför.

  • Räddningstjänsten

    Emergency Services consists of short term crisis intervention, such as rental/mortgage assistance, utility assistance, and other employment or educational needs. Long term case management is also provided to help in the stability of vulnerable households.

  • Elderly Services

    Äldre tjänster består av långsiktig ärendehantering för äldre befolkningen i städerna Ajo, Why and Sells, för att upprätthålla ett självständigt liv eller att få tillgång till information som behövs för att stanna kvar i sina hem och samhällen. Referrals to needed services from home repair, to medical services are provided, as well as emergency assistance if needed.

  • Arivaca Community Garden

    The Arivaca Community Garden is a certified organic garden, located 60 miles southwest of Tucson, in rural Pima County and the town of Arivaca, AZ. The garden provides fresh produce to a variety of organizations, inklusive landsbygds matbanker och varm måltid program. Trädgården säljer produkter på flera bönder marknader. Shares in the garden are sold, so that individuals can access fresh organic vegetables all year around. Vegetables are also provided free to those in the Arivaca community, who have sensitivities to the environment and can only eat organic produce. There is also an onsite training program for gardening and landscaping, to those interested.The garden also supports an international Woofer program for volunteerism and learning opportunities.
